Northwestern Medicine Woodstock Hospital’s emergency department developed a crash cart decommissioning project, which helped decrease the overall annual financial burden. The team at this 11-bed ED also worked to improve the comfort level of non-critical care nurses managing the first two minutes of CPR with a focus on quality CPR, early defibrillation, and basic airway management. Finally, the team is very proud of the streamlined coordinated care delivered to the behavioral health patients who have an extended length of stay.
