In 2025, the ED team at Hackensack Meridian Health Old Bridge Medical Center implemented new processes and enhanced education to target improved care for patients experiencing postpartum hemorrhage and hypertension or brain bleeds.
The team at the 29-bed ED, which saw approximately 33,000 patient visits in 2025, introduced multidisciplinary simulations for postpartum hemorrhage and hypertension, as well as designed a “brain bleed checklist.”
