The Emergency Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. It provides comprehensive emergency services to patients who require immediate attention for serious illness or injuries. In 2022, the Emergency Department saw over 57,000 patient visits, with over 6,900 admissions to our 394-bed inpatient facility.

The state of the art, 40-bed Emergency Department is fully equipped with dedicated imaging and laboratory services to deliver world class clinical care. The Emergency Medicine Program is designated as the official stroke and chest pain center for the Emirate and was recently recognized as the Center of Excellence for stroke treatment by the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi.
