launched a hospital-wide digital chat platform. They designed real-time communication triggers and clear escalation pathways across hospital departments.

This innovation changed the culture, making patient transfers a shared hospital responsibility rather than just a burden for the 88-bed ED. This change yielded exceptional results. The department – which saw nearly 99,000 patient visits in 2025 – slashed the average bed-assignment-to-transfer time from 84 minutes down to a sustained 38 minutes.
