West Central Indiana ENA Chapter 501

Team Award

Team Awards recognize groups or committees that have made significant contributions toward achieving ENA’s mission to lead the advancement of excellence and innovation in emergency nursing through research, education, resources, advocacy and collaboration through the development of a sustainable project or program.

West Central Indiana ENA Chapter 501 is committed to service both inside and outside the

emergency department. Through its Under the Bridge Project, members assembled 120 care packages for unhoused individuals in the community. These packages included essential supplies and comfort items aimed at promoting dignity and well-being. In collaboration with the Lafayette Police Department, volunteers distributed the packages directly to those in need to strengthen community partnerships and outreach. This initiative, which the chapter plans to continue and expand, reflects Chapter 501’s dedication to compassionate care, advocacy and making a meaningful impact beyond the hospital walls for vulnerable neighbors during challenging times.
