Tyler Bowe, BSN, RN, of Wisconsin
Rising Star Award

Tyler Bowe, BSN, RN
This award recognizes a new ENA member (member less than five years) who has made a significant contribution to ENA as exhibited by promotion of ENA as the professional organization for emergency nurses at the local, state, or national level.
In just a few years, Tyler Bowe, trauma coordinator at HSHS Sacred Heart in Wisconsin, has become known in the ED for his positive energy and willingness to step in whenever needed. He volunteers his expertise in his community and is an active supporter of ENA’s mission.
Since earning his BSN from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Bowe has been a TNCC course director and is working toward becoming an ENPC instructor. He has received additional certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, MOAB de-escalation, and Stop the Bleed instruction. He travels around the state teaching TNCC and pre-hospital trauma life support to first responder groups who would otherwise be unable to get the training. He volunteers with a local incident debriefing team offering free debriefing to local nurses and EMS.
Among the groups within his hospital system, he is a member of the sepsis team, stroke committee, and the professional nursing practice council.
Within the Wisconsin State ENA Council, Bowe first served on the education committee and now chairs the government relations committee. For Day on the Hill 2023, he set up meetings with legislators to discuss workplace violence.
