The President’s Award is given at the discretion of the ENA president to an individual or group that has had a great impact on the ENA president’s career through inspiration, mentorship, teaching, or support. This individual must have provided invaluable assistance during the term of the president and must have provided a service or support to ENA that the president deems significant to the profession but is not covered by any other award.
“The first is a group award that honors my daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter: Meredith, Casey and Ruby Grace Hitter, respectively. Meredith has been attending ENA conferences since the age of five. Through those years, she has been lovingly ‘adopted’ by many ENA aunts, uncles and grandmas. Meredith and Casey have gifted me with Miss Ruby, who is the light of my life! Thank you for your love and support throughout this busy and hectic year. I love you all and I am eternally grateful.”
“The second award goes to Sally Zeck. Thank you for your support and understanding every time I had to log on to yet another Zoom meeting, take another phone call or send just one more text message. As I have loved you, my ENA family has loved and embraced you as well. I want you to know how much I deeply appreciate your support and encouragement.”
