Nycole Oliver, DNP, APRN, RN, FNP-C, ACNPC-AG, CEN

Dr. Nycole Oliver’s significant and enduring contributions to emergency nursing focus on the role of the advanced practice nurse in the emergency department. She has been honored twice for the ENA Frank Cole Nurse Practitioner Award.  Her contributions to the refinement of APRN ED practice include authoring two chapters in a nursing textbook on graduate degree prepared nurse professional development, over and delivered 20 advanced-practice clinical-focused presentations at regional and national and international conferences. The position statement for APRN’s and the emergency Nurse Practitioner Competencies were completed under her leadership. Dr. Oliver is an advanced practice registered nurse in multiple health systems in Oklahoma and Arkansas and is an instructor in the DNP program at the University of South Alabama.
