Margaret “Marge” Letitia demonstrates enduring and substantial contributions to the

Over her 50-plus year nursing career, Letitia’s pioneering work reflects steadfast commitment to collaboration and partnership between emergency nursing and public safety, as well as a deep investment in mentorship to support professional growth and succession planning for future leaders. Her impact has been recognized through invitations to serve as a speaker and panelist for multiple organizations.

Her expertise and leadership extend beyond clinical practice into key advisory roles, including serving as president of her regional EMS advisory council. Letitia’s foundational contributions span disaster-planning initiatives and participation on a medical advisory council responsible for developing statewide EMS protocols, many of which have been used or referenced by other states. Her work has made a profound and lasting impact on emergency nurses and the broader emergency services community, by strengthening the quality of care and the foundation of emergency preparedness.
