St. Elizabeth Healthcare is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected medical providers in the Greater Cincinnati region. For more than 150 years, St. Elizabeth has been the heart and soul of health care in northern Kentucky. Founded with one small hospital in 1861, St. Elizabeth Health care now operates five Magnet-designated facilities and provides almost 12,000 licensed beds throughout northern Kentucky.

Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate care that improves the health of the people we serve. We accomplish this through the implementation of evidence-based practice changes, use of innovative technology, and nearly 8,500 associates, that are dedicated to our community.

Grant Emergency Department is a newly renovated 11-bed unit within a rural Critical Access Hospital that serves over 25,000 patients annually. Frontline associates represent our department through various engagement activities such as participation in various house-wide committees, and continuous performance improvement monitoring which is a key to our success. We are honored to be selected as a Lantern Award recipient.
