Good Samaritan Hospital, Western Ridge is a 16-bed free standing emergency department located in the suburbs of Cincinnati, Ohio. Good Samaritan Hospital has served the Cincinnati community for over 160 years and was the first to bring a full-service free-standing emergency department to the community in 2010.
Good Samaritan Hospital, Western Ridge Emergency Department provides care to nearly 24,000 patients annually. The facility is rapidly expanding in services offered and expected to double in size by the end of 2020. Highlighted accomplishments include staff-led improvements in the following areas: disaster preparedness/mass casualty events, stroke care, door to balloon times, medication safety improvement, and horizontal violence.
Other highlighted accomplishments of Good Samaritan Hospital, Western Ridge includes two-time Magnet designation, Acute Stroke Ready Hospital certification recipient, and recognized in 2013 as the #1 Top Performing Emergency Department by HealthStream.
